Who we are

This site, brazilmedicaldevices.com, is run by Brazil Medical Devices. We are responsible for the personal data described below. For any privacy question or request, email info@brazilmedicaldevices.com.

What we collect, and why

When you contact us

If you send a message through our contact form or by email, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, company and country if you add them, the topic and your message. We use it only to reply to you and, if you ask us to, to prepare a proposal or work with you. We do not use it for marketing unless you agree to that separately, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own use.

With each form message we also store the IP address it was sent from, to block spam and abuse of the form.

Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping the form free of abuse (LGPD art. 7, V and IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).

When you browse the site

Like most websites, our server records each request in an access log: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested and your browser's user-agent string. We use these logs only to keep the site secure and working, and we delete them after 30 days (legitimate interest, LGPD art. 7, IX; GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and no third-party scripts run on this site. On device-type, holder and manufacturer pages, your browser briefly stores your scroll position for the current tab, so the page keeps its place when you tick a filter. That stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Company and registration data shown on the site

The registration data on this site comes from ANVISA's public open data: product registrations, registration holders (Brazilian companies and their CNPJ), manufacturers and countries. Some registration holders may be individuals or sole proprietors. If you are named in this data and want something corrected or removed from our site, email us and we will look at it promptly. The official record stays with ANVISA.

Who handles your data for us

Your data is stored on our server, which is rented from a hosting provider. If we receive form messages by email, our email provider processes them as well. These providers act only on our instructions. Some of them may store data outside your country; where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the LGPD and GDPR require for international transfers.

How long we keep it

• Messages: as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any work that follows from it, then deleted. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
• Server access logs: 30 days.

Your rights

Under the LGPD (Brazil) and, where it applies, the GDPR (EU), you can ask us to confirm whether we hold data about you, and to give you a copy of it, correct it, delete it or move it. You can also object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you gave. Email info@brazilmedicaldevices.com and we will reply within 15 days. You can also complain to Brazil's data protection authority, the ANPD, or to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
